Colleagues,

Our strike on 8/2 was magnificent! There were thousands of strikers in the 4 call centers (Teleperformance, Webhelp, TTEC, Foundever)!

In Webhelp, hundreds of colleagues joined the union and organized the strike on their own in their department!

It seems that we really managed to put Webhelp with its back against the wall! This is why it is trying to intimidate the colleagues that went on strike! It’s no coincidence what we hear being said in various departments of the company after the strike … That they would give us a raise if we didn’t strike, that we would lose our bonus, that the company would meet the union and that we were impatient, that it was good that we went on strike but now we don’t need any more fuss, that on the day of the strike they were going to give a 100 euros raise and other such … fairy tales.

Colleagues, we won’t back down now! The fear has changed sides and lies now with Webhelp! We know that they will use any means to stop us from organizing and demanding our rights!

But we are not alone anymore! We have one another and we have our union to support us!

One for all and all for one!

Οn the next day of the strike, a letter of formal notice was served to Webhelp again with a new invitation to negotiate on the basis of our demands. We have yet to receive any response from the company!

We call them once again to meet the union and meet our demands! In any other case, they will find even more of us in the strike pickets at 19/2.

Enough of the days of leave that are not given to us!

Enough of the unpaid overtime!

We are calling for:

  • New 24-hour strike from Monday 19/02 07.00 to Tuesday 07.00am at Teleperformance, Webhelp, TTEC, Foundever and Cosmote E-value.
  • The day of the strike we meet front of the headquarters of Webhelp at 8am. From there, we go altogether at 12pm to the Ministry of Labour to demand a solution to our demands, along with the colleagues from the other call centres.
  • Protest at the Ministry of Immigration on Friday 16/2 to demand a solution to the visa issue for all our colleagues working under this regime.
  • Solidarity Actions to raise money for the Strike Fund to support the strikers in need.

Our demands:

  • The overtime must be paid. New hires so that the workload reduces.
  • Immediate approval of the workers' leave requests.
  • Securing all positions for all colleagues from the ZARA project and immediately informing them of the department they will go to.
  • Break of one hour break based on the prescribed regulation for working with monitors. Excluding breaks for personal needs (toilet, etc.).
  • 20 % increase in monthly salary for all.
  • Unhealthy working allowance of 15% for working with headsets.
  • Foreign language allowance 10% for each language with recognition of the diplomas of all languages the employee has, including the mother tongue, if different from Greek.
  • Automatic wage adjustment based on the growth index for basic consumer goods.
  • Work visas for all non-EU colleagues. Immediate abolition of the modern slavery regime of the “special purpose visa”.
  • Work 5 days-7 hours a day-35 hours a week.
  • Protection of young mothers and people with health problems.

All together in the struggle! No one is alone!
