Colleagues at Webhelp,
The pressure of our major strike actions, with the participation of thousands of workers, forced Webhelp to “sit down at the table”, by sending to our sectoral trade union SETIP a request for the opening of negotiations for the signing of an Industrial Collective Labour Agreement, on Friday 23/02/2024.
A process in which SETIP will come forward with the fair demands of the workers, for 20% wage increases for all workers, a 10% foreign language allowance, a 15% unhealthy hearing allowance, etc.
This development comes on the heels of the great victory of the workers with the formation of a company union, which will be at the forefront of the struggles for every small and big problem.
The negotiation process will be long and difficult and for this reason the pressure on the company needs to be intensified. To wrest any conquest, our weapon is the organised struggle and the mass organisation of all colleagues in their union.
Colleagues, we must not forget that the main aim of the employers is to increase their profitability, their goals, and therefore nothing will be given to us. We strengthen our struggle for real wage increases, better working conditions.
We discuss and decide our next steps, we participate massively in the meeting of Webhelp employees on Sunday 25/2, 17:00 at the Labour Centre of Athens (3is Septemvriou 48Β).
